bio.

Ana lives and works from Auckland, New Zealand.
She is currently studying her Honours year in Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design in the heart of the city. Within her work she draws inspiration from her migrant communities, the idea of the domestic space, found objects as well as archived family material, creating a range of works in the form of videos, text work, textile, performance and sculpture works. Juxtaposing place, time and meaning.
Ana's passion is in telling the stories of people, objects and places through a range of mixed media works and installations. Delving into ideas of the migrant experience, memory, identity and belonging within an exchange of narratives, Ana aims to prod the audience, evoking deeper perspectives into these collectively shared experiences and into the lives of different cultures and peoples.
